Elementary Quiz Bowl in Minden

The Silver Lake Elementary Quiz Bowl Team traveled to Minden on Monday, March 10th. Their first match of the day found the Mustangs meeting up with a buzz saw when Franklin defeated the 'Stangs 80 to 20. Kaitlin answered two toss up questions, and the team answered one bonus.
Agains Alma in the next match, Josie answered 2 toss up questions, while Seyler and Kaitlin each answered one to give the Mustangs a 30 point to 50 point loss to Alma. In this match, Kaitlin served as team captain, and she challenged a bonus answer and won! Great job, Kaitlin!
Members attending the Minden Meet were: Kaitlin Schneider, Tori Kissell, Josie Parr, Seyler Monroe, Alissa Ehrman, Chloe Hartman, and Kimberly Harrison. Congratulations to these students on being selected!
