The Kindergarten class went to Hastings on May 2nd for their field trip. Their first stop was at Runza. They watched how onion rings and runzas are made. They saw where the food is cooked and walked into the freezer. They spoke into the microphone to order food and saw the drive through window. They then enjoyed a delicious lunch from Runza. Each child was treated with an ice cream cone, pencil and t-shirt. They even brought a cup of Mountain Dew back for Mr. Grove! Thank you to Wendy Hanson for an awesome tour!
The next stop was the Children's Museum. The students enjoyed dressing up, playing school, grocery shopping, building, playing music, being a doctor, a vet and a firefighter.
