Jr. High Track Teams Wrap Up Season at Red Cloud

The Silver Lake junior high track teams concluded a successful season on May 12th, 2009 in Red Cloud. It was a rainy day, but the kids all competed at the best of their abilities despite the rain. The girls finished 5th as a team while the boys finished in 2nd. This was a great way for both teams to end the year. The kids all competed very well and improved every meet as the season went on.

12th, were as follows:
GIRLS
Sydney Meyer - 2nd place in the Discus
Sydney Meyer - 2nd place in the Shot Put
Nadine Lovejoy - 5th in the 100 Meter Dash
Sydney Meyer - 6th in the 100 Meter Dash
McKenna Ericson - 4th in the 200 Meter Hurdles
The 4x100 Relay Team placed 4th.
The 800 Medley Relay placed 4th.
BOYS
Gage Gibson - 2nd place in the High Jump
Catarino Perez - 4th place in the High Jump
Gage Gibson - 3rd place in the Triple Jump
Jaydn Grabill - 5th place in the Triple Jump
Richard Ehrman - 6th place in the Triple Jump
Tyler Horton - 4th place in the Long Jump
Catarino Perez - 5th place in the Long Jump
Kasey Johnson - 2nd place in the Discus
Catarino Perez -5th in the 200 Meter Hurdles
Tyler Horton - 4th in the 200 Meter Dash
Anthony Struck - 6th in the 400 Meter Dash
Zac Petersen - 6th in the 800 Meter Run
Catarino Perez - 2nd in the Mile
Gage Gibson - 6th in the 100 Meter Hurdles
The 1600 Medley Relay placed 2nd.
The 800 Medley Relay placed 5th.
The 4x100 Relay Team placed 6th.
