And the Winner Is...

Washington'10 Raffle

    On Friday, October 2, the Washington ’10 group held their annual raffle at the football game against Axtell. The juniors participating in this are Mackenzie Kral, Taylor Ehrman, Megan Jacobitz, Erin Plambeck, Bailey Morris, Brianna Gentert, Bailey Crowe, Cole Mangers, Sawyer Monroe, Jake Polk, and Kris Dewey. Sponsors are Dana Epley and Kim Bonifas, The group plans to go to Washington DC, Boston, Philadelphia, and New York City on their trip from June sixth through the twelfth. They began selling raffle tickets last May and raised $2,140 on the raffle tickets.
    Prizes that were won were: A Little Ceasars picnic kit and fleece blanket, won by Mary Trambly; A smoke alarm and miniature fire extinguisher, a digital photo album keychain, and a welding helmet, all won by Kelly Erickson; a Longaberger basket, dog food and a $25 Timm’s Service Gift card, won by Jane Klein; a Silver Lake Mustangs fleece jacket and a $25 gift certificate to Red Lobster, won by JoDe Kinnaman; a Creative Memories scrapbook album, with stickers and pages included, won by Tony Primm; a Casa Puma 180 tractor – Dealer Edition Collectable item, won by Rick Mangers; a Lasso golf and 2 lawn chairs, won by Terry Plambeck; a brown purse and matching clutch, won by Steph Thayer; 2 free meal deals from Runza, a $20 WalMart Gift Card, and a $20 Runza gift card, won by Carroll Schriner; a $50 WalMart gift card, won by Claire Duval; a $50 Gentert Pack gift card, won by Nathan Dietz; a $50 dollar Creative Designs by Heather gift card, won by Gail Sinner; a homemade Quilt, won by Keith Pavelka; ½ processed hog, won by Travis Knehans; two Nebraska football tickets to the Texas Tech game on October 17th – donated by Tom Trausch, won by Lettie Ostrander; and Four Nebraska basketball tickets and a night at the Embassy Suites donated by Steve Skupa, won by Jeannie Kral.
    Thanks to all the supporters and businesses who donated these prizes to the Washington ’10 group and thanks to everyone who bought raffle tickets to help send the group to a fun and educating trip to Washington!
