Youth Leadership Workshop Attended by SL Junior High Students

The seventh grade class, along with Mrs. Mahoney and Mrs. Fickler, attended the Youth Leadership Workshop at the Quality Inn in Hastings on Wednesday, October 21st.
The students learned that the seven keys to success are integrity, commitment, speak with good purpose, failure leads to success, balance, flexibility, this is it and ownership - with all of this attributes being discussed in detail. Living above the line along with respect and responsibility was another topic covered. Making choices and growing outside of your comfort zone into the learning zone were two things that were emphasized.
The day was fun along with some lifetime lessons being learned.
