The fourth graders have begun their study of the regions of the United States. They have just completed a study of the northeast region. Each student was given a state to research. They were asked to learn the state capital, the state bird, tree, flower, and other interesting facts. They also researched famous people and landmarks, weather, climate, and resources of the region. The students then organized their information into a power point to share with the class. We’ve now begun the study of the southeast region. The students are excited to learn more about the region.
