The FBLA students gathered in the business room on Friday, December 18th, to exchange gifts for their annual “Secret Santa” gift exchange. About two weeks before the trade, the members met to draw names to find out whom they would be buying a present for. The gifts were very interesting and unique to say the least. They ranged from books to candy and pop, and even clothes! As with each year, the swap was a success!
With the holiday break almost over, the FBLA members will begin preparing for the soup supper on January 29th, the night of the Lawrence/Nelson basketball games. Along with this, the month of January brings deadlines for the State Leadership Conference in April. With registration due in February, the members with the most points will be registering to take tests both before the conference and during the conference, as well as completing chapter project reports.
FBLA Appreciation Week will be held the second week of February, where the chapter will be having a breakfast for their members and for the teachers, as well as taking orders for their annual Crush Can(dy) Sales.
