Thank you to Everyone Who Voted for Artist of the Week

News Release from Artsonia Art Institute

A huge thank you to everyone who voted for Ariel Woodard from Silver Lake Public Schools as "Artist of the Week."  Voting closed on Saturday, January 9th, and although Ariel was not selected as "Artist of the Week" for the 10th-12th age group.  It is a huge honor to be in the running for this award.

The "Artist of the Week" will be featured on the Artsonia homepage and will receive a commemorative plaque from Artsonia.  In addition, Blick Art Materials has generously donated $100 gift certificates to the winning teachers and $50 to the winning artists.

All fan club members from Silver Lake Public Schools were encouraged to spread the word at school, as well as to family and friends.  

Again thank you to all of our Silver Lake students who submitted their artwork to Artsonia.  Every one of you is an artist, and a special congratulations to Ariel Woodard for being selected as a finalist for the "Artist of the Week" award!
