100 Days of School at Silver Lake Elementary

First and Second Grade Classes Celebrate

First and second graders celebrated the 100th Day of School on Tuesday, February 2nd at Silver Lake.  Activities for the afternoon were centered on the number 100.  Students estimated how many nickels it would take to measure 100 jellybeans.  They predicted which color was most prevalent in 100 jellybeans.  They sang a song about the 100th Day of School.  A” Race to 100” game was played.  Throughout the afternoon festivities, students wore visors with the 100th Day theme.  To complete the day, all enjoyed a snack.
