FBLA and Student Council Participate in Community Clean Up

Trash Pick Up and Pizza Party Held August 24th, 2010

Silver Lake FBLA and Student Council members participated in their fall trash-pickup on Tuesday, August 24th, 2010. Forty nembers of the FBLA and Student Council picked up five miles worth of trash ranging from three miles north of Roseland on the blacktop to two miles west on Highway 74 around Roseland. Following the trash pickup, students were rewarded with pizza from Papa Murphy's.  Sponsors for this event were Mrs. Hinrichs - Student Council Sponsor, and Mrs. Epley - FBLA Sponsor.

The next FBLA activity is scheduled for Wednesday, September 22nd, when the group will be holding a Red Cross Blood Drive at the high school from 11:30 AM - 5:30 PM.  Please call Mrs. Epley at (402) 756-6611 or email her at depley@esu9.org to schedule your donation appointment today!
