The Junior High Girls Pulled Off Another Win

On Thursday, the 16th of November, the JH girls traveled to Franklin to battle against the Flyers. Dodging Balls and Raising Awareness

  Each year in the United States, about half a million babies are born premature or with birth defects according to marchofdimes.org. WIth the help of donors from around the world, the March of Dimes Organization is able to provide vital services for moms and babies. Last But Not Least... The Outlaws

  The Outlaws of the Old West competed in Harvard on Tuesday, November 14th in the Twin Valley Conference One-Act competition. Although they did not place the way they wanted to, the Outlaws stepped up their performance to perform the best they have all season. We Honor You

On Friday, November 10th, to celebrate Veteran’s day, which usually happens on the 11th hour, of the 11th day, of the 11th month, the Silver Lake Student Council put on a Veterans Program at Silver Lake High School for all local men and women who have served for our country. High School Volleyball Ends Season at Districts With a Loss

On Monday the 30th of October, the Lady Mustangs traveled to Adams Central to battle against Heartland-Lutheran for their first subdistrict game. The Mustangs were able to get a W for the first set but couldn’t pull off a win for the other three sets. The score for this last game was: Set 1: 25-18, Set 2: 22-25, Set 3: 17-25, and Set 4: 14-25. Silver Lake FFA Takes Indianapolis

On October 24 eight Silver Lake FFA members and their advisor, Mrs. Curlo, headed to Indianapolis for the National FFA Convention. They departed from Grand Island at ten at night to start their long 16 hour drive there. They arrived in Indianapolis around 2 in the afternoon and eventually headed to the Convention Center. Perfect Harmony

  On Monday, November 6th, 27 high school choir students, along with choir teacher Mrs. Schulte, boarded the bus to Deshler for Twin Valley Conference choir. Along with 8 other schools, the Mustang choir rehearsed four songs from 1:00 in the afternoon until 5:00 that evening, with only two short breaks in between. Thinking Cap Competition
