Dinner Theater To Be Performed For the Public

The Silver Lake play members have been working very hard to get ready for the production of their play “Not-So-Grimm Tales.” The students have been putting in a lot of early morning practices. There is a lot more to putting on a play than just what the audience sees happening on stage. The reward is not only putting on a great play, but having fun and confidence – not only knowing your lines and “acting” a part – but in becoming the actor/actress.
The students are not only responsible for showing up on time and knowing their lines, but also for bringing the required props. As director of this year’s play, Mrs. Overturf stated, “I think that the play is coming together well. I have confidence that it will be successful. Practice makes perfect. I’m excited that we have so many students who are willing to participate. I’m looking forward to the final production.” The following is a list of students who are a part of the play. Get your tickets early – the play will be performed as a part of a dinner theater on Tuesday, November 17th, at 6:30 PM at the high school for the fee of $10 per ticket. Tickets will be available through the play students listed below or at the high school or elementary offices.
