The Junior High Science Classes, under the direction of Mrs. Diane Mahoney, took on the challenge of building a tower the tallest, strongest and costing no more than $40,000 dollars.
Students could buy spaghetti, linguine, or fettucine along with marshmallows to build their tower.
Strength efficiency was figured as the tower was tested with pennies to see which would hold the most weight.
