Lady 'Stangs Take On Meridian

First Game Jitters Rattle the Mustangs

The Silver Lake volleyball team opened their season by traveling to Meridian last Thursday, September 2nd, for their first game of the 2010 season. After watching the JV lose in two sets, the varsity felt they were ready to take the floor.

The Mustangs started out the set strong, but were unable to pull it off, losing the first set by the score of 25-13. The Lady Mustangs still suffered from first game jitters, losing the next two sets as well, 25-13, 25-12.

With the first game of the season under their belt, the Mustangs are now ready for the second game of the season and second time on the road as they prepare to take on long time rival Blue Hill Tuesday night, September 7th, 2010, at 6 PM in Blue Hill.
