Business Brochures Created By Eighth Grade Boys

The eighth grade boys were given a challenging art project. The assignment was to start their own business. The first thing that they had to do was to decide what the main product of their business was going to be. Next, they had to create a logo or artwork to go with the business. Students had to come up with four different thumbnails of the logo for the business. Once the logos were sketched, the students had to pick the best one and draw a full size image of the logo. It was required that this logo include detail and color.

When the artwork was finished, it was scanned and placed into a brochure which they had to create to promote their business. The brochure had to sell their business and give details to encourage people to come to the business.
