On Monday, March 12, the 2011-2012 basketball and cheerleaders came to have a last meal with the 2012 seniors. Many memories were shared and awards received. In the cheerleading department, senior Traci Klein received a trophy for being a four-year cheerleader and two-year captain for the squad from her coach Cleo Mousel.
In boys basketball, Coach Terry Bauer recognized the team for tying the record for the least points allowed in a game - which was against Red Cloud and was twenty points. The team also broke the record for free throw percentage in an individual game versus Shelton with 100% at 15/15.
In girls basketball, junior Mackenzie Skupa got in the top ten in scoring and rebounding for school records. Skupa stated, "The supper is a great way to reflect on the year and get everyone back together. Both the boys and girls have accomplished things as a team and as individuals that deserve to be recognized. That is what this supper is for - to recognize the team and their successes."
