October 11, 2017

Last Monday, on the 9th of October, the girls battled against two teams, Red Cloud and Franklin, for their last games of the season. The Mustangs ‘A’ Team competed against Franklin for the first game of the night. The score for this game was: Set 1: 25-16, Set 2: 22-25, Set 3: 25-27. 7th Grader Georgi tenBensel commented on this years season: “One thing I thought was exciting was that I was able to play with the girls I have always played with since 3rd Grade, and to have a new coach.” For the ‘B’ Team, they played against Red Cloud, but also took a hard loss, with the set score of: Set 1: 20-25, Set 2: 23-25.

Coach Ms. Farley said, “I think the girls had a great season! We had a couple tough losses that we should have came out on top but didn't work out that way. The girls improved tremendously on the serving and communicating! It was a lot of fun watching them progress throughout the season. I am very proud of them all.” Come see the Junior High girls start the season of Basketball on the 7th of November at Harvard!
