Philosophy of Education |
I believe that our students should have access to the best education possible, be it through technology, hands-on learning or the conventional book way. I ran for school board to get involved in my children's education, and I kept filing for more terms because I enjoyed it. I hope that our school can stay ahead of the curve with technology and everything else that makes us a very, very good school system. My highlights of being on the board are merging Campbell with the Silver Lake School District and serving with many intelligent, involved, and well-meaning people through the years. Although some of the decisions that I have made through the years have not been popular with everyone, I fee that the best interests of the students, school and communities have been served. |

Personal Information |
My wife Mitzi and I have been married for 28 years. Our son Derek will be going to UNL this summer to study agri-business and join the Husker football team. Our daugher, Sydney, is a busy 7th grader at Silver Lake. I enjoy golfing, sports of all kinds, camping and traveling. Watching my kids in their activities is also a top priority for me. |
