Position	SLPS School Board Treasurer
Educational Background	High School: 1971 graduate of Bladen High School
Number of Years on School Board	Appointed to Silver Lake Board of Education since 1987.
Philosophy of Education	We have a great staff and students. I have enjoyed watching the students succeed in academics & activities. I am excited about the 1:1 technology plan that we have implemented at Silver Lake. I am also excited about the new improvements that we have made towards communications between parents, teachers and students (the new web site & power school), and the improvements in security that we have made.
Personal Information	My husband Doug and I (both graduates of Bladen High School), were married in 1971 & are the parents of 3 children. Becky teaches 2nd & 3rd grades at District 15 (AC) and lives in Hastings. Brian works for Stein Mfg. in Hastings & lives in Holstein. Shaun is a freshman at UNK. All 3 are graduates of Silver Lake. I enjoy woodworking, reading, & sewing. My favorite movies are anything with Tim Allen or Steve Martin. I enjoy all kinds of music. My favorite food is Mexican.
