Position	SLPS School Board Member
Educational Background	Associate Degree in Info Technology from CCC Bachelors Degree in Business Communication from Bellevue University Working on Masters Degree in Instructional Technology from UNK I work for Hastings Public Schools as a Technology Assistant and PowerSchool Administrator.
Number of Years on School Board	4 years on the Silver Lake Board of Education
Philosophy of Education	I believe that Silver Lake is a great district and provides a high quality education to all students who attend. I also believe that schools should prepare students to go out into the world and be well prepared for their next adventure, be it college or to join the work force right away. With the technology now being offered at Silver Lake, we have been able to level the playing field for our students. As a board member, I want to be able to help facilitate growing technology awareness in all curriculum areas so that SL students can continue to learn and grow into highly motivated adults.
Personal Information	Bill and I have three children, all graduates of Silver Lake High School. Rachael is a CSA with Cabela’s in Kearney, Rebecca is Assistant Vice President with First Bank and Trust in Minden, and Michael is a junior at UNL studying Agri-Tourism. I have taken up golf (I’m not very good but I am really have fun trying!) and I also love to quilt.
