Philosophy of Education |
I have always loved to be a leader. Throughout my educational experience, I have wanted to help others. This is something that I found very easy to do in education. When I was in school, I had great teachers as well as some extremely poor teachers. Through this, I realized that the great teachers seemed to make it easier to learn while also helping to make my educational experience a more positive one. I got into coaching because I have a strong passion for athletics and feel that with that, I am capable of helping athletes grow that passion. As a first year teacher, I would not change a single choice I have made. It has been a great experience to this point, and I just hope that everything continues to go as well as it currently is. |

Personal Information |
I am a single male from Spalding, Nebraska. My parents still reside there and my only sister currently lives in Kearney with her husband. She commutes to Elm Creek every day where she teaches as well. In my spare time, I love to golf and fish. We also are in charge of my grandpa’s old farm back home, so a lot of my spare time is spent driving back there to help with harvest, cattle, or anything else they can possibly find for me to do. I watch a lot of movies and to pick a favorite is near impossible, but some of my all time favorites would be Rudy, The Legend of Bagger Vance, Annapolis, and anything with Will Ferrell in it. When music comes around, I can listen to almost anything, but country is definitely preferred. When it comes to eating, I like anything my mom makes when I go back home, and then my beef brisket - one of few things I can cook! |
