My philosophy of education for Industrial Technology and coaching is to provide opportunities to students to learn skills and information that will help them achieve their goals when they leave high school.
A favorite quote of mine is from former General Norman Schwartzkopf: “Everyone knows the right thing to do, the hard part is doing it.”
Teaching students in the classroom is just one part of my job. Trying to teach students to take responsibility for their actions, the meaning of commitment, and how to work hard to achieve their goals is also very important. The ultimate goal is to help the students to become a well-rounded, contributing member in society today. |
