Philosophy of Education |
The first twenty years of my teaching career, I taught in a Class 1 school. I taught multi-grades from kindergarten through fourth grade. The last five years, I have been teaching in the Silver Lake Elementary Schools. I taught four years at Holstein (K-3) and one at Bladen (5th Grade). I entered the education profession because I enjoy working with children. I enjoy watching the students I teach become excited about learning and school. It has been rewarding to see them growing up and becoming productive members of society. It is a privilege to be a part of the Silver Lake Elementary School System where I have the opportunity to teach the most important thing in our school system, the students. |

Personal Information |
My husband and I have three children: two daughters and a son. We stay busy keeping up with our three children in and out of the state of Nebraska and love every minute of it. In my free time, I enjoy working in the yard, gardening and collecting ruby red dishes. I like to watch a good comedy when I go to the movies or watch TV. I like listening to all types of music. My favorite food is any kind of Mexican food. |
