Mustangs Race to the Finish Line

On Tuesday, April 2nd, the Mustangs traveled to Franklin for their second meet of the season. The morning started off with field events. Brooke Kamler and Katelyn Karr were the only two girls to place for the Mustangs in field events. Kamler placed 4th in shot with a throw of 30 feet 8.5 inches. Karr placed 5th in Long Jump with a jump of 13 feet 11.75 inches. On the boy's side, Alex Ehrman and Johnny Borgman both placed in the triple jump. Ehrman received 5th place with a jump of 37 feet  6 inches with Borgman not far behind, receiving 6th place with a jump of 36 feet and 5 inches.

Starting at one o’clock, were the running events, in which three Lady Mustangs gained three more medals. Kerigan Karr got 5th place in the 800-meter dash and 4th in the 1600 meter run. The girl's 4x400 meter team placed 4th with a time of 5 minutes. The team consisted of Katelyn Karr, Amanda Ehrman, Emmy Freitag, and Kerigan Karr. Alex Ehrman sprinted the 100-meter dash in 12.4 seconds, receiving 5th place. The boys 4x100 meter relay team consisting of Ehrman, Luke Swanson, Zane Journey, and Borgman took home placed 5th. The boys 4x800 meter relay team also placed 5th. The team was made of Matthew Hansen, Lane Parr, Oakley Rosno, and Taran Hanson.
